๐Ÿ›’ Fuber

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 18, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Kitchen In A Week, a California corporation ("we", "us"), which operates the Fuber app and fuberusa.com (together, "Fuber"). By using Fuber you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Fuber.

1. Who can use Fuber

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Household accounts are meant to be set up by an adult.

2. Your account

Fuber creates an account for you when you open the app, and you can save it with your email address so it moves to a new phone. You are responsible for what happens in your account and household. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me โ†’ Delete my account); this removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Prices, aisles and other shared contributions stay available to other shoppers without your name.

3. Prices, aisles and specials come from shoppers

Prices, sale specials, aisle locations, product names, package sizes and photos in Fuber are entered by shoppers, read from receipts and shelf tags, or come from public sources such as Open Food Facts and stores' published lists. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong. Estimates marked "โ‰ˆ" are guesses based on other stores. The price on the store's shelf and on your receipt is what you actually pay. Fuber does not guarantee any price, saving, availability or location, and is not responsible for purchases you make based on information in the app.

Fuber is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any store or brand named in the app, including Trader Joe's, Ralphs, Walmart, Amazon or YouTube. Store and product names and trademarks belong to their owners.

4. Food allergies and food safety

Fuber's allergy warnings come from product data that shoppers and Open Food Facts provide, and may be missing or wrong. Always read the package label. Kitchen In A Week and Fuber accept no responsibility for allergic reactions or any other harm. The same applies to ingredients, use-by reminders, recipes and meal ideas: they are conveniences, not medical, dietary or food-safety advice. Check labels, cook food safely and use your own judgment.

5. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence: reading receipts and shelf tags, suggesting recipes from your pantry, and translating the app and list items into your language. AI results can be wrong โ€” check receipt totals, recipe ingredients and translations yourself. To keep the service affordable, each account has a usage limit for AI features (currently about $3 of AI use per day and $6 per week); when you reach it, those features pause until the limit resets.

6. What you share

You keep ownership of the content you add โ€” prices, aisle locations, specials, product names, photos, recipes, list items, classes and other content. By sharing content that other shoppers can see, you give Kitchen In A Week a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify (for example, resizing photos or translating text) and distribute it to operate, improve and promote Fuber. This license continues after you delete your account for content that was shared with other shoppers.

Only share content you have the right to share. Don't upload photos of people without their permission, and don't include personal information in photos or names.

7. Community rules and moderation

Don't use Fuber to:

Shoppers can report photos and content. Reports are reviewed by trusted, high-ranking Fuber shoppers, and content they vote to remove is taken down. We may also remove any content, reset points, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

8. Points, badges and rewards

Points, badges and leaderboard positions are for fun and recognition. They have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and may be changed, reset or removed. If rewards are offered in the future, they will come with their own terms. Points earned by breaking these rules may be removed.

9. Live classes and recipes from other users

Live cooking classes and shared recipes are created by Fuber users, not by us. We don't check them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or results. Classes stream on YouTube, whose terms apply there.

10. Other services and links

Fuber links to services we don't control, such as Amazon, YouTube and Open Food Facts. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. As an Amazon Associate, Fuber earns from qualifying purchases made through "Order Now" links; this doesn't change the price you pay.

11. Fuber is provided "as is"

Fuber is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that Fuber will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at every store, or that any information in it is correct.

12. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kitchen In A Week and its officers, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost money, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Fuber โ€” including from prices, allergy information, recipes, AI results or other users' content. Our total liability for any claim relating to Fuber is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use Fuber in the 12 months before the claim (Fuber is currently free) or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

13. Your responsibility

You agree to defend and hold harmless Kitchen In A Week from claims and costs arising from content you share or from your breaking these terms or the law.

14. Ending

You can stop using Fuber and delete your account at any time. We may change, pause or end Fuber or any feature. Sections 3โ€“6 and 8โ€“15 continue to apply after your use ends.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction; either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court where it qualifies.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Using Fuber after a change means you accept the updated terms.
